The Democrat Problem:

The cartoon in the post below this one is a brilliant illustration of the Dems' biggest problem: THEMSELVES! The character with the clenched fists on the left is mad as hell that the real world has shaken his carefully constructed web of lies and deceit.

Attacking the Republicans, promising to "do things smarter" and "Bush lied and Denny Hastert knew about Mark Foley" are all that the Dems are offering the American people.

They CANNOT win if they tell the truth! Can you just picture the bug-eyed hippie (Pelosi) from San Francisco going on national TV and promising to:

1. Raise taxes on the "rich" because they have too much of the wealth. Never mind that this will cause higher unemployment and slow the economy to a crawl. "Social justice" demands that we fix this inequity, results be damned!

2. We should withdraw immediately from Iraq and Afghanistan. We believe that radical Muslims will be happy then and NOT follow us to our shores. After all, why would they want to fight us in the streets of Cleveland and Jacksonville?

3. We will embark immediately on articles of impeachment of the President and Vice President. Bush lied, kids died AND YOU KNOW IT!

4. We also want to make gay marriage as common as root canals and colostomy bags. We believe the concept of Adam and Eve was born of a homophobic culture and could just as easily been Adam and Steve! Get used to it you haters!

So you idiots out there in fly-over country remember to vote Democratic and install me as Speaker and we will work hard to make our agenda a part of the American fabric. Thank you all and G-d bless, oh no scratch that. To all my fellow citizens of the world, alive and dead, remember to vote Democrat on election day!

That, in a nutshell is what the Democrats offer. We cannot allow them to win.
