Obamasama Ding Dong...

Barack "Blank" Obama and Disingenuous Politics Of "Understanding"

Senator Barack Obama (D-Illinois) has been anointed by the mainstream media as a frontrunner for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination. He's been a guest on "Meet the Press" and, more importantly, "Oprah."

He's been featured on the covers of Time magazine and Harper's, and profiled in The New Yorker. He's received praise from sources as disparate as Charles Krauthammer and Richard Cohen. A CNN poll in early November demonstrated that the Obama media fawning has had a dramatic impact: Obama trailed only Hillary Clinton among Democrats.

Who is Barack Obama? He is a cipher running as a shaman.

I never heard of Ben Shapiro before. His take on Obama was dead on. I loved his quote, "there is a thin line between being open-minded and empty-headed." WOW!

Have you ever noticed that when a lefty asks you to be "open minded" they only want you to agree with them? Or you immediately morph into a Nazi or fascist.

Now that you mention it, yes. The lefties are dying to have a smart sounding black person represent them. Maybe they are tiring of abject idiots like JJ, Maxine Waters and Cynthia McKinney. Or am I just being a racist? LOL!

Hi Morgan, how are you? So we're going to go from "I feel your pain'' to the ''politics of understanding''. Understanding what? What has been Obama's record anyway?

I happen to like Obama, i think he is a great speaker, which makes him a great politican, he is still a democrat, which will make people on the right cringe anyways, but i'm a proud independent, i could vote for a Republican or a Democrat, this past election i voted all Republican, in '08 i may vote all Democrat it depends who runs.

It is true he has no record, maybe that shows the desperation of the Democratic party, they are going with they guy they nothing about, because the guys they know a whole lot about is just to scary, although there is this old saying:

"Are you going to trust the demon you know, or the one you don't"

If his skin wasn't black, he'd be just another slick junior senator from where? That's a poor reason for the Dems to herald him so. If he didn't speak as well as he does, he'd be Charlie Nobody--it's terribly patronizing for people to be so nutz about him only because he doesn't mumble or talk ghettotrash. Being a 'presentable' black man gets him his attention--but it's not enough to make him an able politician. He needs more of a track record than simply being on Oprah's show. I wanna see what this communist-come-lately does in the Senate. He's too slick, too touchy-feely, too I'll-tell-ya-what-ya-wanna-hear for me; I DO NOT TRUST HIM.
