I created this blog as a response to the hypocrisy, nastiness, and negativity at Democratic Underground. The D'RATS do not allow disagreement on their site; they demand their posters tout their party line word-for-word. Any poster who does not march in lockstep is immediately banned. Their cowardice in this, and their calumny towards America's leaders, will not go unanswered as I address the issues of the day--and one of the most negative, detrimental influences in the blogosphere.

I am of Irish-American, Swiss, and Czech descent. I was born and raised in Denver, CO. Later, my sister and I moved to San Diego for a few years--and we now reside in the heart of downtown Seattle. I am happily married and I have a degree in human services, a minor in philosophy, and I've worked extensively with developmentally disabled, autistic and mentally ill teens, adults, and the elderly. I thoroughly support President Bush, our troops, our allies, Israel, and the United States of America, HOO-RAH!

Donal, fair-minded Americans are not fooled -- they know the wrongs done by Republicans get front page treatment while Dhimmicrats seem to get a pass. When a Dhimmicat gets caught, it's because they're absentminded or simply goofed on paperwork. Republicans, of course, do it because everyone knows Republicans are evil at heart, right?
But the Dhimmicrats made "corruption" a keyword in their campaign and as your posts today and yesterday emphasize, Pelosi is nominating an Abscam "unindicted coconspirator" and an impeached and disbarred former judge for important positions in the House. People are finally starting to notice and even the WaPo knows it is going to hurt the Democrats. They're raising a stink at the WaPo over some of these selections. The 2008 elections are only 700-odd days away and already the Democrats are generating fodder for campaign commercials. I think the liberal "think tanks" thought the Dhimmicrats would be smart in this transition but they fail to realize that Democrats can only be Democrats.
