Clinton: $5,000 for Every U.S. Baby

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton said Friday that every child born in the United States should get a $5,000 "baby bond" from the government to help pay for future costs of college or buying a home.
Clinton, her party's front-runner in the 2008 race, made the suggestion during a forum hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus.
"I like the idea of giving every baby born in America a $5,000 account that will grow over time, so that when that young person turns 18 if they have finished high school they will be able to access it to go to college or maybe they will be able to make that downpayment on their first home," she said.
The New York senator did not offer any estimate of the total cost of such a program or how she would pay for it. Approximately 4 million babies are born each year in the United States.

And she wants 'em to have free health care and college and...and...AND! WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING TO COME FROM? By the time they carbon-offset our economy WE'RE not going to be able to afford it--and, somehow, I don't think Pelosi/Kerry/Edwards/Reid/Murtha etc. expect to pay for the lions' share of it themselves...

Cripes, I'm going to move to Mexico and commute for bennies here - under the demos they're getting a better deal than we are.
This $5000 taxpayer giveaway with the ever-generous-with-someone-else's-money Hildebeast serves two of her goals PERFECTLY.
1. It makes more and more people wait around with their hands out. They become (or stay) dependant on her heinous for the goodies from someone elses pocket.
2. It's damn near a direct transfer of money from anonymous, hardworking taxpayers into a leftist University system which rewards the Democrats handsomely.

Anyway they once did a paradoy about how if "Camelot''(JFK) were really, totaly ''cool'' and one of the things the ''cool'' JFK did was give every college-age?hiipe kid,guy and gal $5,000 to ''find themselves'' or something, it was totla goof and funny as hell. Johnny this is just the tip of the iceberg if one of these unadulterated socialists actually winns the nomination. Either Hillary or ObamaOsama will pick Richardson as the running mate in order to win NM and AZ.
You guys are going to make the Dems feel bad! Free stuff is good in theory, but can't happen in the real world. We all know that "someone" has to pay for "free" stuff.
