Prairieson Makes the Case For A GE Boycott

RE: Bush League Justice

I am not always keen on boycotts for a number of reasons but I think conservatives should begin to consider a boycott of General Electric. GE owns this sewer called NBC and its management could temper some of this leftwing derangement taking over at that network.

GE has benefited from many defense contracts in the past and supplies the Pentagon with things like jet engines and critical electronics -- but GE doesn't seem to be very appreciative of the fact it is the defense industry that is helping enrich its stockholders. And who in the political arena supports a strong defense?

Instead, GE owns a network that pretty much hates the military, hates the defense establishment, seems to hate free enterprise unless it affects their own wallets, mocks all religions except Islam, and employs a rabid spittle fountain like Keith Olbermann.

What's wrong with this picture? GE wants my consumer dollar, enjoys income from my taxes -- but owns a network that clearly hates me and my way of life.

Maybe conservative should begin repaying that sentiment.

Good thoughts, Prairieson. Looks like GE is playing both ends...and racking in the dough from both.

Look at the politics of Pepsi? The same will Miller Beer. It isn't surprising that GE, a huge multinational company (as Osher is always bitching about), NBC's parent company would hold these extreme views. We do need to boycott GE. The thing is they own everything electrical. How are we going to do it?
