This is a great guy! I heard his interview shortly after it was done--and it was quite a different thing than the usual pissing and moaning that the Democrats do! He has a wonderful attitude, he's reasonable--and he doesn't try to apportion blame according to partisan politics (ya think we could clone him?)

I saw a 15 second clip of this on TV yesterday and it looked like the Prez really enjoyed this guy's company. It was a good scene. Isn't it nice to see a grateful person come out of the sewer of leftist New Orleans? We had SOOO much fun there in August of 2001. It may be years before we go back now that they reelected Ray Niggin!

Finally...someone who has the ability to see the truth through the lies and Democratic Underground crud.
I cannot tell you how many times I have had arguements with bleeding hearts about Katrina and blame. I mean, a Cat. 5 Hurricane and a city below sea level. All the King's horses and all the King's men could not have prevented that mess.
Some say it opened up the wounds of racism and poverty. Personally, I think it showed the hard core downside to a nanny state and corrupt local politics. It also allowed us to see the criminal element in its natural state.....of course that would be racist to observe, but here I am.

Well sweetie- prayers were answered, I guess G*D was checking my obedience level! For my sake, not HIS. The message I was given at the meeting was bad enough, I was stepping down from council and head of the prayer ministry, because G*D was taking me in another direction! Whew! Now I know I can trust HIM even more than I have before! Isn't that a really kewl thing to learn? And keep learning! And I thoroughly agree, we do need a prayer chain for our blog community! With so many Jews and Christians, we need to support each other during these times and they are getting tougher! I'll get you my e-mail and maybe with Nanc or Warren or Always we can set up one!

You have a really good attitude about your difficulties--it's quite encouraging (I NEVER hear anything like that at DU, even amongst their own...)
I've recently been taught several good lessons about taking care of oneself, having common sense, and respecting the bodies we were given. Funny how those lessons just come along! I sure needed the one I got!
Well...life is a series of tests, this is a test, it is only a test! I'm listening to my local Christian station and they're playing "In Christ Alone", hahahaha, G*D gives such subtle reminders! BTW- Hope is a gift from G*D, if you aren't in relationship, how can you have real hope? Those at DU don't have hope, all they have is this life! When it doesn't go they're way, what do they have? Dust and ashes! I have a mansion and some well loved ones waitting for me and ONE who has never let me down! I have everything and all they have is dust and ashes! I can dance for joy, they dance to go into a frenzy to forget! I have G*D, they have drugs, alcohol, promiscuity and politics. No wonder they are in such a tizzy, they have nothing else! Everything they believe in is in front of their eyes and they are constantly disappointed. That's why they scream that they have been robbed, they don't have anything else! Dust and ashes!

That Chunk-O'-Nothing-Socrates has tried to dupe several of us, he threatened some of the guys awhile back etc. He never got to me because I never told him anything about myself.
(Paul made me promise to be MORE than careful--no giving out personal info--DONAL2004 was created specifically FOR FPM--no phone numbers exchanged, and no meeting online people in person (I teased him that the Green-Eyed Monster bit him on that one! He said "You're damned tootin' it did! LOL!)
We compromise on most things--but Paul said he wasn't going to be a-worrying about me all day while he was in class or at work, he just wasn't.
He's really a heck of a guy--and I am a lucky gal!
