America won't win another war until the 1960s flower children are pushing up petunias.
Radicalized, the flower children morphed into lefty loonies who now masquerade as social progressives. No matter what they rename themselves, however, their agenda hasn't changed.
They still want utopia, and it wouldn't be worth mentioning except that their naivete has aged into a persistent denial of reality that may have devastating consequences.

The D'RATS at DU have targeted this woman's email and put it up on their site so that she can be spammed... per their belief in free speech and tolerance for all, no doubt!
I have written her and warned her the D'RATS are coming! (She was nice enough to write back and thank me!)

The brats at DU are not only foolish, but dangerous and stupid. May they all roast in hell; this writer is correct.
All they want to do is bring us down. I think they really DO hate America--they won't be happy until everything is laying in ashes.
I do think the woman who wrote this column has it accurately pegged. I was thinking the other day that we wouldn't win another war until the flipdippies are all dead. Funny how that's obvious to us but not them.

Hippies: Upper middle class and middle class kids living off their parents until it became hip to reject them. Now the hippies have become Bill Clinton, Hillary, Tom Hayden, Jane Fonda,Howard Dean. Though not actually ''flower children'',they have the same mores and values,if they can be called that. Although it would probably be more accurate to say these were the 'revolutnaries''who would ''fight the power'' by becoming it.I suppose the DU'Rats and their progeny have no clue to the irony in themselves. Always calling Republicans and conservatives,or anyone else they disagree with ''facists'',a word that has really come to lose the power it once had, when in reality,they're more conformist than any Stalinist re-education camp could ever hope to achieve.In their hate of George Bush they're beyond obsessive. What they don't see coming is where this hate is going to bring them when the President leaves office. Nothing worse than a ''jones'' you can't ''fix''.What do you suppose they'll do with themselves? And now that the Dems have control of both Houses,Iraq,in effect becomes their war. Crazy as they may be,no Dem who wants to stay in office is going to want to cut and run,so it will be interesting to see how the ''Children of the Corn'' treat their own. Yes Cassie...liberals and hippies HATE America. We are still the bread winner when it comes to "white supremacy" and "slavery" and "oppression" and "aggression" and "evil". Until we die their thirst will not be quenched.
I went to college in the 60s. I had to put up with all sorts of leftist crap from certain professors--not the least of whom were the fools teaching methods in the education classes. Their basic philosophy was "If a child doesn't want to learn something, don't force him because you might hurt his self-esteem" or "Let your students discover themselves." I spouted back that rot on the tests, got my certification, and proceeded to do real teaching once I got my job.
Anyway...When I graduated, I said something like this: "Just wait until these incompetents [my fellow graduates] are in charge. They'll destroy the legal system and the medical profession." I guess that I should've focused more on what they would do to our government.
Frequently these days, I say "The 60s has arrived!" I didn't like the 60s when I lived through that era, and I like it even less now.

AoW--Thank God we have teachers like you that don't buy into all that gibble-gabble. When I got my degree in human services, it was the same. I got Flippy Dippy Libby 101 FOREVER. Everything was somebody else's fault, and addiction was a 'disease'. When I went out into the 'real' world, I taught my clients personal responsibility!
BROOKE--Your dad was a straight shooter. I didn't like the hippy mindset either and remember it was very hard growing up in the 60's and teen in the 70's with all that druggy feel good nonsense. Free sex is NEVER free!
