Democratic Underground Does NOT Honor Our Troops
I note with interest this Veteran's Day/weekend that over at DU, there was not one reference, honor, best wishes--or anything else--posted about our troops. There's no flag waving, no 'proud to be American' (and certainly no 'I Support Israel' avatar). There's no visit to a war memorial, parade with the troops stationed near them, or remembrance of their comrades-in-arms. There's no visit to a Veteran's cemetary; no flowers on any fallen soldier's grave.
THAT'S how they 'support the troops'.

DONAL since you didn't say it I will. They still HATE our troops after all these years.
We now have the most incredible fighting force in the history of mankind. Not only are they capable of annihilating the bad guys, but they are the kindest and most compassionate occupying force the world's ever seen. Volunteers to a man. For anyone who's interested in saying thanks I still keep in touch with an MP unit in Iraq. I think they're in Baghdad or Ramadi. Let me know and I'll post the info. here with DONAL's permission or we can do it the E-mail way. Be back later after the game.

OH, COME ON now, folks.....the Left LOVES some ofour soldiers! Kerry and Murtha are so elevated in their veteran stature that we're supposed to honor everything they say, remember?
Sure! Murtha was a soldier who thinks that he can condemn young soldiers even before he's heard one fact (Haditha) and Kerry was a soldier and says our young ones commit atrocities in Iraq.....
and the Left thinks they deserve kudos and we can't question their patriotism, but they'll spit and demean any young kid who says he's for fighting in Iraq to save Americans at home.
DOn't be QUITE so hard on our Left and their treatment of vets!! They LIKE some of them!!
