It's Not Welch's Grape Juice...

Blood and Oil

With the gruesome killing of former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko, Vladimir Putin's Russia stands accused of poisoning yet another critic.

Meanwhile, Syria continues to mastermind the murders of Lebanese democrats. Israeli-free Gaza is as violent as ever. Hezbollah is busy replenishing its stock of Iranian missiles. The theocracy in Iran keeps promising an end to Israel. Venezuela's Hugo Chavez is slowly strangling democracy in Latin America in a manner that an impoverished Fidel Castro never could.

And then, of course, there's Afghanistan and Iraq.

It's easy to think that all of this violent instability across the globe is unconnected. But, in fact, in one way or another, oil and its huge profits are at the bottom of a lot of it.

Oil is the vehicle, or pawn of those who desire power. Manipulation of the vehicle is what is important, not the vehicle itself. And the self-haters, leftistas, watermelons and various other utopian groups will jump on that vehicle, and happily drive it off the cliff, killing themselves too. But their hate and insanity blinds them to their impending destruction!

Good morning, TMW! Yes, it's all about power, power, power.

DONAL I think TMW has a good point there. We ALL know that our addiction to foreign oil is causing so much of the problem. We practically have a Lake Erie size oil deposit DEEP in the Golfo de Mexico and the Schumers and Pelosis of the world will fight us tooth and nail before letting us recover it. They'd rather have the Chinese drill it.

It exposes them once again as people who want to do harm to our country, they hate America.

VDH was also correct in pointing out that we should be feverishly building nuke plants, clean coal plants, wind tech. for electricity especially off Teddy K's digs and other energy sources. I KNOW this is a market driven decision as it normally should be, but it's my opinion that we cannot afford to wait until gas is 3.50/ gallon to start recovering our own deposits in earnest.
Is this something that could possibly be fixed VIA Executive order? I'm not aware of the legalities here.
See ya tonight, gotta run.

Do you have ANY idea what it means for them to get "goodies" from strangers back home? It erases weeks worth of horsesh-t spouted on CNN, believe me! Thanks a lot DONAL, you're the best! Sometime after Christmas you will probably get a letter of thanks from the Command Master Sgt. or CO.. These are some of the small things that He commands us to do that make ALL the difference. Bravo Zulu!!
