Get A Rush!

Here's A Little RUSH!

The Democrats today are so craven in their demand for defeat, it is an incessantly, increasingly loud demand for defeat. They won't even support the president sending reinforcements to the troops on the ground, and they all at the same time claim that they support the troops. Frankly, not enough has been done outside of talk radio to expose their sabotaging and that's exactly what has been going on.

The Democrat Party has been sabotaging this war effort as soon as they felt comfortable making the move. They were always going to. It just required a little work in advance on the part of their buddies in the media to start ginning up anti-war support, and they could make it look like they were reacting to the American people. That's what all those polls way back in 2002, '3, '4, and '5 were all about. Creating enough anti-war sentiment, Democrats could pretend that they were listening to the will of the people, when in fact it was all a strategy designed to give them the freedom and opportunity to make statements which are, for them, honest and who they really are, no matter what the time frame.

So there has been an effort here to sabotage victory, and nobody talks about it. They drew the line in Iraq years ago, and they drew the line in Iraq because they don't want us to win this war at any level, because they don't want us to win a war at any level. They draw the line on Iraq because any successful military incursion, while George Bush is president, just dooms them in the future in one of their fundamental beliefs, and that is the US military is the focus of evil of the modern world. They're doing the same thing when it comes to internal security from external threats.

I think I've got this figured out. I think I know what's going to happen. It's going to be left -- we got a Democrat Congress now, with all the threats and all the hearings, all the investigations coming up -- it's going to be left to another Republican president, maybe ten years from now, to take care of this. It's going to fester all this time. Democrats aren't going to take care of this. We know how they deal with this. After these ten years or so that we get another Republican president, the problems are going to have gotten worse, after we've left, after we've gotten out of Iraq, after we are attacked again, the reality will set in and not before.

Then we're going to have to go back, we're going to have to go back somewhere, Iraq, I don't know where, at a far greater cost to us and our allies in the region such as they are, it's going to be far more dangerous. But right now neither the Democrats nor some queasy Republicans or the public accepts generally the enormity of what we are dealing with, despite 9/11 having happened, which is what's so frustrating to those of us who see this clearly. In fact, it may take a Democrat president to deal with this years and years and years from now.

Now, let me explain something to you. When I said it may require a Democrat president to ultimately deal with the enormity of what we face; I don't say that because they are better. They are not. I say that because the Democrats, they will throw everything out in order to deny victory, they'll do that at all costs, they will take all costs to deny any victory to any Republican president, because they put party and power above all else.

You think if Bill Clinton were president right now, they'd be calling for pulling out? Do you think they'd be conducting hearings against Clinton? Do you think the anti-war movement would be as strident as it is? Do you think John Conyers and Kennedy and all these guys would oppose supplemental funding requests for reinforcements, do you think that would happen if Bill Clinton or Hillary, or take your pick if any Democrat were president today? Of course it would not. And guess what, there wouldn't be any Republicans doing it, either, because the Republicans would join with the Democrats in facing the enormity of the problem. They would support a Democrat president under these circumstances. The Democrats simply will not do it.

I don't usually post his stuff--not because it isn't good--but because his is a members-only site. This was important enough, I thought everyone should read it. I believe it IS our future.

Thanks for posting this DONAL. I heard Rush on the radio today and he was impressive.

I subscribe to MoveOn.org to get their e-mail updates and early this AM I got the news they were going to rally at the Jax Bch. pavillion to protest the President's "escalation" of the Iraq war.

Neal Boortz is a nationwide syndicated talk show that's on in Jax from 9am to 12. I think he's the 4th or 5th biggest in the country. So I called him and we talked for around ten minutes about what motivates the Dems to betray America so frequently. During the discussion I managed to appeal to all patriots to counter protest the MoveOn wackos at 5:30 PM.

Carmen and I showed up and we already had some troops there for our side! The wackjobs outnumbered us 25 to 12, but that was a result of MoveOns efforts. They had such a maggot-infested lot there to represent them! I felt like breaking out the chlorine and my pressure washer for the bunch of 60's retreads. Not only that, but Fox News and First Coast news interviewed me. What fun! I hate to admit it, but I bought my .357 and a bat just in case at JM's urging! LOL!

Right on... A bat and a gun, gotta keep your fellow Americans from expressing free speech... Your hatred for your fellow Americans is appalling. Did you shoot anyone? Maybe beat someone? Good times, eh? Just like the old days.

It was purely self defense anon. I've already fought for the right of those nutcases to express themselves, so I'll be damned if I was gonna let them take a free shot at my daughter now that I'm back here in the good ole USA. We made some pretty clever signs too. I'm sure an emoter like yourself would have loved them! LOL! Having said that if any of those tatoo and maggot-infested weirdos would have made a run at us they would have MADE MY DAMN DECADE! :-)

ANON.--Who STILL doesn't have enough stones to post in his real name--you don't know the definition of the word M-A-N. Don't gripe at Jingo if his shoulders are broader than yours and he's not afraid to stand up for the right things. We gals know a man when we see one and YOU'RE just not one.

I've listened to Neal Boortz--and good for you! We're all laughing like hell over your story.

And ANON.--don't gripe to ME about being denied free speech; you're at MY blog saying what you want. I'M not able to go to DU and say what I want, remember?

Thanks for the nice compliment DONAL! They just showed Carmen and I and the rest of us on Fox News at 10. I spoke for our side and did a poor job of it and it was STILL much better than the spokesman for the wackos! It's FAR easier to talk on a radio show. The 60's longhair from MoveOn fidgeted nervously and spoke like a stupid Valley dude! Do you think they smoke pot before showing up? Are "shotguns" still the order of the day for malcontents? We won BIG TIME!

Now First Coast News at 11 is gonna do their interview. I talked to them too. So did another guy with our group. He had a blue Navy Chief ball cap on. I had my Gator UF hat on. I doubt you'll get it on the net, but it's good for a laugh if you have the time!

Hey Veritoink, If you were a real man you would post your real name. Sorry but I just dont get this argument. In this paranoid circle a pseudonym is a real name? Or is Veritoink your real name? Some how I dont think there is a Mr & Mrs. Veritoink, or Mrs Jingoist or whatever.
And I do appreciate that you keep your comments open to all, really... That is very brave to preach hatred and also let others respond. Good on you as they say.

les ismore-Don't be totally a fried brain, some of us have good reasons for not advertising. I'm a widow with 2 teens, one a daughter, do you think it would be wise to advertise myself? And have predators crawling out of the woodwork to try and take advantage of my situation?
Look at Michelle Malkin, she gets death threats, and she has a husband and children. Do you think that those of us with family responsibilities want to expose our families to abuse and threats?
THINK!
If you are single and in college, or just starting out with no one to protect you can banner your personal info across the world, but responsible people protect the ones they love!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

Merry Widow, I agree with you completely. I just think that for Veritoink to say, "you arent a real man unless you post your name" is just plain silly. I dont see anyone posting a real name. I dont expect anyone to post a real name. Not particularly for the reasons you state, although I respect those. Most folks fear is the "flying monkey brigade". You know just bombing your inbox with death threats, etc. I respect everyones anonymity. But it is a two way street.

Les Ismore--Sure we use pen names, but I have more dignity than to simply call myself "ANONYMOUS". I let people know, at the very least, that when they write back to VerityINK, I am the same person who addressed them the last time as VerityINK. Am I supposed to be impressed with thinking this 'anonymous' idiot is a different person everytime an 'anonymous' posts, or can I at least have someone who stands by what they say under the same name?

When I write back or read from The Merry Widow or Jingoist, I know I speaking to someone who represents themselves fairly, and with guts--someone who is not afraid to be a person, a personality, with me. That's all I ask.

P.S. I have had someone post a $1000 'reward' for anyone telling him who I was and where I lived--and I STILL have the guts to post a blog, under the same name each time. Using a name--however made up--would at least allow me to 'know' someone as a human being--and get to know them, and the position from which they write. Posting as 'anonymous' is nothing more than a random drive-by.

BTW My name happens to be DONAL--and I post at FPM under that and at Lucianne.com, and Townhall as well:-) I am VerityINK at Rush Limbaugh as the name DONAL was taken. You may happily find me posting on a number of blogs, magazines, and pages under either VerityINK or DONAL/DONAL2004--and you may write me at DONAL2004@aol.com anytime you wish. That's about as honest as I can be and not have to constantly keep my gun well-oiled. Happy now?

Veritink,
Thanks for your take on things. Now I understand your point about anonymous posts and I will abide by that rule. I go by Les Ismore here, Red State, Atlas and other places I post. I have been banned under that name at LGF and, by the way, at DU, for pointing out the same thing, hatred for our neighbors and fellow Americans. I have all of the death threats directed to exmanhattan@yahoo.com but I dont check it very often.

But it is real easy to create a new identity if you want to consider posting at DU, LGF or anywhere else.

Well I don't ban people here unless they use racial slurs, come here just to insult or sneer, or are disrespectful to the government or President Bush; there will be no 'Chimpy' here (and women aren't bitches or c****). Otherwise, anything is fair game.

Blogger VerityINK said...

And, actually, my lack of respect for Mr. Anonymous has more to do with the fact that I know who he is--and have told him so--and he STILL refuses to use his name. He's from DU (I tracked him from a flagged entrance page) and he doesn't want his cohorts knowing he posts on a conservative blog.

He ought to take a little comfort from the fact that I post at DU frequently (and do get thrown off a couple times a week), bait 'em with a post here about them, and then wait for a batch of them to come reading here. A lot of them do it--they just don't want me to know they do it! LOL!

Well Les, it seems to me you miss the point entirely with the death threat comment, and the free speech comment.
We do have the guns. We've had the majority.

That, and only that, is why you DO have free speech.

Blogger VerityINK said...

And, Mr. Gutless Anonymous, you said our 'hatred of our fellow Americans is appalling'. Well, I don't happen to consider sniveling Leftists, who don't support this country--and can't be decent to the President--my fellow Americans.

Avid Angler,
First of all you dont have a majority, not in the house, not in the senate, not in the will of the American people. 35 states of sheep and cattle dont count.
And if you are making a death threat, please use my email account for such things. And by the way, you and the other Timothy McVeighs (lifetime NRA member) of the world are what scare me most. Not that you could or would do anything, just that you vote. But I love the hatred that you spew.

Donal,
Nice bunch of readers. Lets see, Jingoist says bludgeoning someone or better yet shooting a fellow American would make his decade. Not the birth of his daughter, or her graduation or something wonderful like that but just killing someone who is exercising their right to free speech. Something that I fought, something my nephew died. Avid Angler threatens your other reader. Like I have said many times, this is a true hate site, pure and simple.

Les Ismore--Jingoist is one of the finest men I've met on the Internet. He's a devout family man, runs his own business, and fought in the Gulf War. He is so relentlessly patriotic, he loves America so much, that neither he, nor I, can bear to see ungrateful kids and Leftist nutjobs so thoughtlessly campaigning for our defeat.

You see we all lived through Viet Nam. We know what abandoning Iraq will do--the same thing cut-'n'-running did in Indochina. Maybe you and yours don't care that over 3 million died due to the Leftist war protesters in America that undermined the war, but we do.

We know damn well the price our personal safety and America's reputation will suffer. We know it might bring on a lot of 9/11's and sooner than you think.

You Leftists are so selfish in only thinking of your own party's power or of your screwball utopian dreamworld goals, but we will not let you tear down the best country in the world, one that is on the side of good and is doing right.

THAT'S why Jingoist gets so upset at stupid war protesters --who have not served one tenth as long, or as honorably, as HIS ENTIRE FAMILY HAS, SIS INCLUDED.

He knows that you are worse than thoughtless--and you have no idea of what you're throwing away by trying to undermine America. He has been a soldier. He knows how cowardly, unsupportive, defeatist words sound when a man is on the field of battle. By speaking here, he is defending what is the right thing to defend.

An honorable man or woman DOES NOT UNDERMINE A SITTING PRESIDENT IN TIME OF WAR. How your generation did not learn that, or you don't know history well enough to figure it out for yourself, is something I cannot understand. It simply isn't done--not if you are decent.

Blogger VerityINK said...

Les Ismore--You may not slur the reputations of the fine men I know here, like Avid Angler, by calling him Tim McVeigh, nor by making NRA membership sound like an insult. He, too, is a brave man, a very good man--and he only spoke the truth to you. People HAVE fought for our right to have free speech. You wouldn't have it everywhere else you went and AA just wanted you to be grateful for that. He was not rude to you; please don't be rude to him.

Les Ismore....how's about addressing the article? Do you post at Frontpagemag, too? This is ExACTLY what our lefties at the conservative site do, right after they, who spend WAY more time than any of us does at the site, complain about it being SO CONSERVATIVE...they read aNn COulter and complain that she's too thin, they read an article backing the war by a diplomat and go into paroxysms that he can't know because he didn't fight...I could go on and on. NEVER addressing the points in the articles! It's fEEEELINGS to them, not facts, right? sound familiar to you?

So, try reading the articles and stick to the subject. who CARES who uses their real names or not? I believe 2 people at FPM use their, what I suppose are, real names.....at least there's a first and last name, who knows if they're real....out of the hundreds who post there. This isn't unusual, this isn't out of fear! It's anyone who's sane enough to know one doesn't need to be exposing himself to whackos on an internet world in which we don't REALLY know eachother.

how's about reading the Rush piece......or is it just so scary you have to throw smoke screens at the site to pull us away? thanks.
