Kerry's Swift Retribution

Kerry's Swift Retribution
Wall Street Journal

The country long ago moved beyond John Kerry's Presidential ambitions, but the Senator, as he seems never to tire of reminding us, has not. Now Mr. Kerry's throbbing grievances jeopardize President Bush's nominee for U.S. Ambassador to Belgium.

Late last month Sam Fox, a 77-year-old St. Louis businessman, sat before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for a confirmation hearing widely expected to be uncontroversial. But in the 2004 campaign, Mr. Fox gave $50,000 to the Kerry opposition group Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.

In everything he does, Jon Carry shows us the measure of the man he is. What a small, small man, indeed, is one who would ruin someone's ambassadorship simply because of a donation he gave. Carry will keep up these petty grievances, and nurse all his failed ambitions--and ultimately blame them on someone else. I have never heard him take responsibility for anything he has ever done.

He's not going to forget a thing, is he? He's going to hold a grudge until the day he dies.

You know, we have so many politicians these days that have no grace; they hold a grudge longer, and just wait for the day they can get even. I don't respect such men.

If half the vets he slandered held a grudge that long, he would've been dead long ago.

Hold a grudge???? You have to be kidding me! The Swifties lied and lied some more and essentially kept a good man out of the White House. Damn right he should hold a grudge and so do I.

Kerry served with honor, unlike Bush and Dick "I had other priorities" Cheney. It was shameful what these scumbag swifties did. And it was a disgrace how the MSM gave them air time.

Anonymous-Drinking the leftista koolaid, ehhh?
Kerry is a small, petty man who is incapable of rising above. He merely floats to the surface as pond scum. He is a politician, period!
And don't throw Bush in my face either, I left the republicans too, they have all sold us for a bowl of beans!
And Kerry is a high priced gigilo!
Petty, little people hold grudges.
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!
