Ellison Shows His True Colors

What I Think About Rep. Keith Ellison Comparing Bush to Hitler
By John Gibson

I think Congressman Keith Ellison of Minnesota, the first Muslim elected to the House of Representatives, should think about taking a big fat chill pill. Maybe he should not speak in public anymore. Maybe he should look at early retirement.

He needs to do something drastic to avoid the error of confabulating an American president — any American president — with Adolph Hitler. Such a comparison shows you are not only a student who failed history, but you prove you never even read any history at all.

This is what Ellison, a Muslim convert, said to a meeting of atheists more than a week ago:
"9/11 is the juggernaut in American history and it allows... it's almost like, you know, the Reichstag fire. After the Reichstag was burned, they blamed the Communists for it, and it put the leader of that country [Hitler] in a position where he could basically have authority to do whatever he wanted."

So the congressman says 9/11 was the Reichstag fire, which was set by Hitler's people so he could seize power. Hard to imagine any other interpretation of that remark.

But Ellison responded in a letter to a Minnesota newspaper and tried to wiggle out of what he said. He wrote: "Obviously, Usama bin Laden and the hijackers who carried out the murderous events are responsible for 9/11."

Well, congressman, when you say it's the Reichstag fire, it does call into question whether you believe the man who has publicly taken credit for the terror attack: Usama himself.

Ellison then tries to shift blame back to Bush: "We may need years to shake off the taint of Iraq, Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, FISA violations, Patriot Act encroachments and other Bush administration failures."

It's OK for Ellison to oppose Bush. Plenty of people do. Fine. Vote for somebody else. But to essentially accuse Bush of planning and executing the 9/11 attacks is not so much a political assault on Bush as an assault on the reason and the judgment of Ellison himself.

Mr. Ellison, you've explained why you don't like George Bush. But you haven't explained why you publicly articulated and endorsed the deranged thinking of the looniest among us. Until you take it back and apologize for dabbling in the craziest of 9/11 conspiracy theories, you truly call into question your fitness to serve in the U.S. Congress.

That's My Word.

Mr .Ellison displays not only a remarkable ignorance of history( after the Riechstag fire Hitler outlawed all political parties;I don't recall Bush doing that after 9/11) he manages to insult not only the US,the office of the President, and the man himself, but every veteran who served in WW2(including four of my relatives), and he insults the victims of the Nazis. This man is a staggering ignoramus and a vile demogouge. If he represents the sum of that which elected him then good God Almighty what a fever swamp that district must be.J'Mac

Freedom of speech, thought and religion do not make the overthrow of the United States of America’s government a lawful pursuit or activity.

Radical Islam is not a religion, it’s fascism by another name. Fanatical Islamics are Nazis, hellbent on the annihilation of all peoples who do not convert to their brand of totalitarian, barbaric fanaticism.

And liberals know it full well. They’re using this extreme threat to further their own political goals. They don’t believe in anything these fanatics stand for or their rights to practice their so-called religion. These liberals don’t even believe in freedom of religion. If they did, they wouldn’t be attacking Christians all the time.

They’re just using this issue, like they use every other opposing viewpoint or enemy of the conservative majority in this country to further themselves.

And their country & fellow Americans be damned.

Amoral, manipulative, unethical, heartless, vacuous, wastes of human flesh is what they are — every last one of them.

Their way is the way of destruction and it will lead to ruin. They will never succeed in changing and rearranging reality into their vision of how the world ought to be. They may have their day in the sun, but they will never keep hold of power for long.

Their way simply doesn’t work, it loses. Like it or not, this country just isn’t a nation of losers.

BTW, the oath of office Rep. Keith Ellison took was to as follows:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."

Now, with the recent speeches he’s given at the venues reported, I think there’s absolutely no doubt the man has violated the above oath in a number of ways. Mental reservation, most definitely; purpose of evasion, without a doubt; bearing true faith and allegiance, not to the USA, to Allah & Islam he has, but not to his sworn duty.

The man is an enemy of this country. He ran for Congress under false pretenses and lied to the people who elected him; something permitted by Islam, but is strictly forbidden, is unlawful in the USA. He must resign or be expelled from Congress.

The issue has nothing to do with violating his rights to freely pratice his “religion” or rights to free speech or thoughts. It’s about Rep. Keith Ellison’s betrayal of his Oath of Office. He has dishonored & violated that oath. And liberals damn well know it.

This is about war. This is survival. Radical Islam has declared war against the USA, or do liberals think what they did to us on 9/11/2001 was an expression of Allah’s love?

I’ll tell you what’s outrageous; what's racist about muslims, it's this:

It’s muslims living in free, democratic societies bestowing on themselves the right to kill their fellow citizens because we won’t follow their precious Allah.

It’s muslims denying their fellow citizens the same freedom to worship the religion of our choice that our free, democratic societies allow them.

It’s muslims demanding to impose their repressive, violent, abusive Sharia law & barbaric treatment of women on free, democratic societies.

It’s muslims lying through through their teeth, taking Oaths of Office, like Rep. Ellison, vowing to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America while secretly having no intention of doing anything of the kind.

I don’t deny anyone their right to hold any office. I deny their right to BETRAY that office. I deny their right to BETRAY the American people who elected them. I deny them any rights to BETRAY this country in the name of Allah, the country they promised to protect.

Having a muslim as a voice in our government is a scary thing. I don't know what else to say.

We'll see what surprises Ellison bestows upon a naive American public. Is he a black muslim complete with muslim bodyguards, or is he just an ordinary lets-make-life-miserable-for-everyone-else muslim?
