FROM DU: Reid's Letter Condemning Limbaugh Fetches $50K On eBay
It may turn out to be the most valuable letter radio personality Rush Limbaugh ever received. Correspondence from Nevada Democrat Harry Reid was sent earlier this month to Clear Channel CEO Mark Mays, officially calling on him to condemn popular conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh's controversial 'phony soldiers' remark.
Clear Channel syndicates Limbaugh's show. Mays refused to condemn the remarks and Limbaugh recently placed Reid's letter on eBay, pledging to match whatever it fetched and donate it all to The Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation. As of Tuesday morning, the top bid for the letter was over $50,000. The bidding ends Friday. (sabra)

--So, once again Rush has managed to make a laughing stock out of the Dems! Limbaugh is a windbag, but he's a master of making Democrats look foolish.
--There is the possibility that the auction could be pulled. He has many political signatures that haven't been authorized for sale purposes. If there is a question of ownership to the letter he may not have the right to sell this letter. I've made my concerns known to EBay at it's complaint line. Since it all goes to a charity, it will be a question as to whether or not any of the signature people want to challenge this sale.

I love it! Rush truly IS a hero for our side--and for the families of the Marines and officers killed in action charity. The Lefties can just barely stand it!

Hi Donal! I heard Rush talking baout this today, this is fantastic. Old "Yellowstain'' Reid thinks it hit one out of the park with this letter and all he did was shoot himself in the foot for a good cause. It doesn't get better than this. "Bad day at Black Rock''. Good film. J'Mac.
G-d bless Rush Limbaugh. Without him Conservatism would be subject to the whims of rudderless politicians.

Johnny I'm doing great! Thanks for asking. We have a BIG weekend planned, followed by Monday night football here in Jacksonville. My sister is coming to town Monday afternoon so I got her and Carmen tickets for the Jags-Colts game.
It's gonna be LOTS of fun, despite the fact that my sister carries stress like some people carry the bubonic plague! Oy!
They have the Colts favored by 3 points. Hmmm. I think we'll win by 9. We beat them by 30 points or so last time they were here. Our biggest problem is that they have a better defense this time. Anyways it should be a blast!
