NYT Leaks U.S. Pakistan Strategy

NYTimes Leaks US Pakistan Strategy All Over Its Front Page
By Rick Moran

There is no more dangerous situation in the world today than what is happening in Pakistan. The incendiary combination of radical Islamists, unstable government, and nuclear weapons presents the greatest challenge to US security seen in many years.
But this tense, volatile, potentially catastrophic situation only means business as usual for the New York Times and the cabal of leakers in the CIA who, unelected though they are, still arrogantly assume that they can dictate policy to the White House by leaking the most sensitive and secret plans of our government.

(snip)

"The highly delicate nature of the discussions" may be the understatement of the year. With rioters already in the streets of Pakistan and Musharraf barely able to keep the lid on, the prospect of the CIA or US Special Forces operating on Pakistani territory - even if it is only under discussion - has the potential to bring about an explosion of anti-American violence in the streets directed against Musharraf.

This is something all the critics of American timidity in attacking Taliban and al-Qaeda sanctuaries in the tribal areas of Pakistan have never understood. Musharraf has been adamant that no US forces operate on Pakistani territory because he well knows that the radicals would be easily be able to stir up a hornets nest of anti-American sentiment in the streets. This would destablize the government even more.

And if this were to come to pass, it would be a direct result from unnecessary leaks from the faction at the CIA opposed to any aggressive move by America to protect itself or its interests and their willing partners at the New York Times who never met a secret they didn't want to spill.

Don't people and the media have a clue that we are all in danger, that they are aiding the enemy? I don't understand this thinking, especially when the danger is, also, to themselves.

Why are we employing traitors at the CIA? Why has the Bush Administration failed to root them out and prosecute them? How can the rogue officials at the CIA, State Dept. and NSA operate at cross-purposes to the elected President? This is so damned frustrating. Why aren't these traitors jailed and prosecuted? It shouldn't be so hard to get these guys out of our government. And why aren't the editors at the NY Times held to account either? Time and again they've disclosed illegally obtained and leaked classified information which puts our nation in grave danger. Why are they allowed to continue? Surely there are laws against this, why aren't we using them to go after this treasonous tripe?

It is so frightening. And infuriating to continually and perpetually read this crap. Why didn't the majority Republican Congress work with our Republican President to fix these holes in our national security? We frittered away an enormous opportunity to remedy much of what was wrong in our government. What the hell happened?????

Also, too, why can't anything be done about the damned NYT? This is FAR from the first stuff they've leaked!

I don't know, VerityInk. It sure seems like a two-pronged attack against these traitors is in order. I can't understand it.

Chomp, "they" can not only care less, but are allies of the NYT.

Understand that statement: "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

So any enemy of GW and America it a friend of the NYT, and all of the far left in the DOD, State Dept, Justice Dept., and every other federal and state "dept" in which they have infiltrated.

Senator Joe McCarthy was not wrong. Consequently, we will be destroyed from within while our "people" are watching Oprah, soaps, or a sports program n TV. There's a reason why the term "ignorant masses" was coined.
