What Kind of War Crimes Trials Does Obama Plan?

What Kind of War Crimes Trials Does Obama Plan?
By Thomas Lifson

Barack Obama's plan for imposing unity on the nation after he takes office apparently entails a close look at war crimes trials for Bush administration officials. He has even said so in an interview with Will Bunch of the Philadelphia Daily News.

This kind of change -- putting your predecessors on trial for their conduct of policy -- may not be what most Americans really want or expect from someone with Obama's gauzy rhetoric of unity. But unity has a dark side in the hands of people who regard their opponents as criminals. America has two centuries-plus of history lacking the totalitarian practice of jailing the predecessors when a new president takes office.

Of course, we all know the difference between crimes and war crimes. Right?

And of course, if anyone takes the time to read the article, both the local interview in Philadelphia and the one in the American "Thinker", you will notice that no where does Senator Obama mention war crimes. He does discuss crimes but not war crimes. I'm not sure if the writer is projecting something, maybe something he should tell us about if he knows more. It might be--IF you babyish Lefties hadn't been bleating about supposed 'war crimes' from day one. You've made them up, lied about them, Murtha-slandered--and done everything else you can to make them so in the eyes of the public. Anything to undermine the military and America, right?

So, nitpick if you want to. The rest of us have enough sense to understand what the Traitorous Left is demanding--and what Lil' Bam will be compelled to give in to. Got MoveOn.org? CodePink?

Grow up, Les. We know damn well that if ANYTHING on ANY list of the Left was done by a Dhimwit, you'd never in a million years consider it wrong, let alone hold them accountable.
