On Monday, the Iranian foreign ministry held an international conference. There's nothing unusual in that. Foreign ministries hold conferences, mostly dull ones, all the time. But this one was different. For one thing, the International Conference to Review the Global Vision of the Holocaust dealt with history, not current politics.
Instead of the usual suspects—deputy ministers and the like—the invitees seem to have included David Duke, a former Ku Klux Klan leader; Georges Thiel, a Frenchman who has called the Holocaust "an enormous lie"; and Fredrick Töben, a German-born Australian whose specialty is the denial of Nazi gas chambers.
The guest list was selective: No one with any academic eminence, or indeed any scholarly credentials, was invited. One Palestinian scholar, Khaled Ksab Mahamid, was asked to come but was then barred because he holds an Israeli passport—and also perhaps because he, unlike other guests, believes that the Holocaust really did happen.

Good for you for knowing your history! Yes, Frank McCourt, the writer-teacher, wrote of being in the Korean War and being stationed at Dachau for awhile. He DID mention that all the camps had done their laundries there and I think our Army did later, which was why he got to go there.

Jewish families were left untouched by the tragedy to deny that it indeed happened.
However, you will find some in certain facilities where they belong.And you will find some who either escaped the facility or were not put there being thought of as not dangerous , just ridiculous...
In time they are being used by enemies of the JEWS and of truth and history and their denying becomes important because they are supposedly JEWS.
I say - the day you deny the Holocaust you are no longer a JEW if you are a funcioning human being alltogether.

This is my understanding of the Jews who were there. They are NOT Holocost deniers. They are a TINY radical sect who believes that the very existence of Israel is an affront to G-d and will prevent the coming of the Mesach. So they want Israel to disperse to the world. As for numbers, I think they are less than 1000. I forget their name, but they are obviously wackos.

When you hate someone at such a universal level as these people hate the Jews, it magnifies the object of hate but it does something else -- it magnifies the existence of the hater. It gives these neo-fascists reason to believe they are part of some elect group of saviors who are the only ones to receive the "revelation" of just how powerfully "evil" the Jews are and how it is their responsibility, their specialness, to show everyone else why they must also hate the Jews and destroy them. It gives meaning to their worthless lives.
I am convinced human beings are prone to induced psychological pathologies of the worst kind and Jew-hatred is one of those. You can get a sense of this pathology at work by visiting places like DU. Not that DU is anti-Jew, although too many there are "anti-Zionist", but they've found other targets for their brand of holy hate.
