And I DO need to correct something the interviewee has said:
Saudi Arabia is NOT the only place where this stuff has gone on.
They have ALWAYS been present in muslim societies to various
degrees--don't let him fool ya.
(And, oh yeah, there's actually a good way to permanently beggar someone
by cutting off their hands or a leg! Riiiiiight!)

Not to mention Israel is often the only safe haven for people who are being persecuted by these Islamic Fascist governments.
I hate to admit it, but I have mixed emotions about this one. The whole idea of "honor killings" is abhorant for sure and born of a sickening culture. Buuuutttt...
Provable cases of rape, treason and murder are diminished in their seriousness when the perpetrator is spared the chopping block. Think what you will about the Arabs, and rightly so, but they deal appropriatly with these animals when they swing the sword.
I have mixed emotions about the hand chopping for theives, pickpockets and purse snatchers. First and second offenses should be dealt with in other ways. Flogging? But when a serial offender continues to victimize hard working people I lose my patience, as do these Saudis.
As for Sharia law in Great Britian that's far more complicated than you might imagine. We all know the threat posed by Islam to Europe. That's a given and MUST be dealt with by the Europeans soon.
The appearance of Sharia law is not ONLY a symptom of Islamism, socialism is also to blame. British criminal law has gone completely and absolutely BERSERK in the last 6 or 7 years. The inmates are truly running the asylum. While Islam deals harshly with felons of all sorts, British socialists sharpen the blades of the skates used by these same felons to slide straight through the non-existant criminal justice system! They deal more harshly with right-wing "hate" speech.
My monthly NRA magazine runs regular stories of Brits sitting in jail for shooting armed invaders IN THEIR OWN HOMES! This is socialist insanity on steroids! Of course this is designed to make you even more dependant on big brother for protection.
This type of insanity in the justice system weakens the resolve of the British masses to deal with Sharia. The thinking goes, "those Muzzie blokes are a dangerous lot, but they sure do know how to deal with murderers and malcontents."
A strong and JUST criminal justice system in Great Britian will not only save the Brits from Sharia, but also from themselves.

That executioner has a cold heart. He has executed friends for violating shari'a law, which is more a cult than a justice system.

Jingoist, one of the problems with the rape punishments is that they accrue to the rape victim, not to the rapist. Typically, the victim becomes a victim twice over, when she is killed in an "honor" killing. Meantime, her perpetrator often walks free. Sometimes, he is even celebrated as a hero.
