The DU d'RAT Review
I created this blog as a response to the hypocrisy, nastiness, and negativity at Democratic Underground. The D'RATS do not allow disagreement on their site; they demand their posters tout their party line word-for-word. Any poster who does not march in lockstep is immediately banned. Their cowardice in this, and their calumny towards America's leaders, will not go unanswered as I address the issues of the day--and one of the most negative, detrimental influences in the blogosphere.

Except it's a bit too true to find it funny for long.......don't you love the Dems? They hate anything war like, including soldiers (who they spat on and belittled after Vietnam), until Kerry or Murtha side with them on this war and suddenly "OH, Murtha has to be right..he SERVED OUR COUNTRY!" "KERRY FOUGHT IN VIETNAM..how DARE you doubt what he says?" It's incredible. Funny, they didn't think the same of the swift boat guys.

That spat on meme has never been proven by anyone. When I was in the army, I went through San Francisco, in uniform, both to and from Viet Nam at least 6 times. I was never treated with nothing but respect every time. At the very worst, indifference. Yeah, that is a great story the wingers like to tell but like the "Clinton trashed the white house" story, it is an urban legend.
By the way, if anyone spit on me or any one of my buddies, they would have had gotten the s**t beat out of them, right there. You guys seem to think we were a bunch of lambs. We werent.
LES--I had vets in school that said they were spat on--and the Clintons DID steal and trash the White House. You're trying to insist on stuff for which you have no proof. YOUR denying it isn't proof.
les, your quotes fine! this is WAR, there are no absolutes..we DO think a battle's finished when it is not. These are typical of the confusion during a war. Nobody knows how the enemy will act/react!
