Are You Proud To Be An American? TELL IT!

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Dear Friend:

As we prepare to celebrate Independence Day, I want to invite you to share with us why you are Proud To Be An American!

Americans are not a particular people from a particular place -- rather, they are the personification of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit is truly an American.

There are thousands of reasons why we as Americans can be proud. Whether it's the soldiers who put their lives on the line in defense of our freedoms - or the honorable men and women who stood before them- we as Americans have a lot to be proud of.

Maybe you're proud of a teacher who has dedicated their life to teaching young children, or a first responder who risks their life everyday to protect our communities.

Whatever it is that makes you proud to be an American, we want to hear about it.

Please take a moment during the July 4th celebration to think about what exactly makes you proud to be an American, and thenemail your thoughts to: blog4us@nrcc.org. After you send us your reasons, visit our blog to see if your comments have been posted. We will carefully read over all the entries, and will feature the best submissions on our blog.
