Hillary, Edwards Caught Insulting Rivals
NewsMax

Hillary Clinton and John Edwards were overheard Thursday collaborating on a strategy to eliminate other Democratic candidates from future presidential debates and forums.
According to the Associated Press, Fox News Channel microphones picked up Clinton and Edwards on stage discussing their desire to limit future joint appearances to exclude some rivals lower in the crowded field.

"We should try to have a more serious and a smaller group," Edwards said into Clinton's ear following a presidential forum in Detroit hosted by the NAACP.

Clinton agreed, according to print reports and video footage of the exchange. "We've got to cut the number. . . . They're not serious," she said, then thanked [Sen. Barack] Obama of Illinois and [former Ohio congressman Dennis] Kucinich as they walked by.

Clinton, turning back to Edwards, added that she thought their respective campaigns had already tried to limit the debates and "we've gotta get back to it."

The so-called "less serious" candidates in the 2008 Democratic Party field include New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware, Sen. Chris Dodd of Connecticut, former Ohio congressman Dennis Kucinich and former Alaska Sen. Mike Gravel.

Kucinich was quick to denounce the comments by Clinton and Edwards.

"Candidates, no matter how important or influential they perceive themselves to be, do not have and should not have the power to determine who is allowed to speak to the American public and who is not," said Kucinich.

"Imperial candidates are as repugnant to the American people and to our democracy as an imperial president."

Edwards is a FREAK! Have any of you actually watched the video of him primping and preening for the mirror, that hair deal video? It's FOREVER! I'm a WOMAN and I"ve never in my LIFE spent that much time in front of a mirror primping only 2" of hair on MY head when it was that short! NEVER. And then, for him to sit there, quietly, eyes shut, waiting for the spray?

If my husband girly-manned a look like that, I'd PUNCH him!! (Smile!)

You guys see Kucinich on FOX tonight? Colmes tried to tell Kucinich that Edwards has said he didn't mean to be exclusionary, he just meant that it might be a good idea to have smaller groups than one big debate group and he wasn't being surruptitious. Kucinich said something like "Alan, you going to believe what your eyes and ears hear and see or just what Edwards said to distance himself from what everyone heard and saw with whispers behind the backs of hands, etc.?"

Tonight, my husband says "Geez, it's rough to get thru the half hour of Colmes on the hour long Hannity and Colmes, isn't it?" had to laugh and agree.

Women don't like men who are prettier than they are!

Edwards will need to stop the primping to get on Hill's good side...assuming he wants to be on her good side. Which side is her good side?

Verityink, the video of Edwards combing his hair is priceless! I really don't think he can tone down his pretty side.
