What adult would vote for a totally untested presidential candidate by falling in love? Maureen Dowd, Frank Rich, Senator Joe Biden, and a million other Democrats -- that's who. The New York Times stable of Leftie pundits is reliving the Decade of Love. The Washington press corps has the teenie bopper hots over Barack Obama -- such a romantic name. A real African!

What does he believe? What has he actually done? Uhmmmm... Well...
It's Son of Camelot! And he's got the youth vote! Children just know these things!
This is straight out of Dumb and Dumber. If you despaired about the media's endless love affair with Bill Clinton, the Master of Slick, because he Cares About You, you'll get to revisit those feelings now. For we have a new national idol!
The Good Parent
Children often have fantasies about a Good Parent -- one who loves you and takes care of you forever and ever, who forgives your transgressions whatever they may be, who demands nothing, and never, ever hurts your feelings. Obama is now the Good Parent of the childish Left -- a good majority of the Dems, it would seem.

During the 50 years between 1958 and 2008, our value and moral systems have changed dramatically downward. In their naiveté, our youth seeks Utopia assisted by the remaining adult masses who have again become children seeking a new mother and father represented by the state, to handle their lives. And now that morals are on the shelf, life is one big party for every one.
Americans no longer value personal choice, multiple opportunities, or accept personal responsibility. how s
They have been replaced by cheating on our spouses, cheating in school, and cheating at work. Betraying of a trust is rationalized by potential monies gained. No longer valuing responsibilities for ourselves, instead we've decided to become awards of the state. Achievers must be punished by the tax man, and slackers rewarded. Individualism replaced with collectivism.
Soon, as in France, Germany, and Italy, side by side refrigerators will be replaced with under counter refrigerators, real cars replaced with Mini Coopers, houses replaced with 400 sq. ft. "walk ups," employment opportunity advances replaced with paid 8 week vacations and 4 week personal time, and socialized medicine with the federal government assigning a doctor to each of us, with waiting times 10 times longer for appointments.
So socialism it will be. Soros and the UN have won.
I still think we have a George Washington out there somewhere, Sonny. I'm not willing to pack it in yet!
I am sure you are right, Boss, but this time even more, the MSM is also against us. I will pack it up when I am dead.
Meanwhile, we'll be fighting against the UN, academia, unions, ACLU, the MSM, the Democrats, socialist and communists around the world - and within, and Oh yea! - the ignorant masses. Shoot! Who's left out there? We're a handful against a shrewd, well financed, patient, persistent, and vicious army.
And to top it off, we've got the Islamic terrorists kicking in our back doors because the NYT gave them our addresses.
Well, if the NYT didn't, the Dems, WaPo, CIA Clintonites etc. DID...
