The d'Rat Version Of A Hero:
FROM DU: Ehren Watada Refuses To Do His Duty:
When Lieutenant Ehren Watada's Army unit from Fort Lewis, WA leaves for Mosul in northern Iraq this month, he will not be among them. The 28-year-old Army officer will formally refuse today to ship out when his unit deploys to Iraq.
Watada faces being court martialed for refusing to serve as ordered, unless the Army allows him to resign his commission or assigns him elsewhere, in a capacity unrelated to the war in Iraq. The young officer, who attempted to resign his commission in January -- his request was denied -- is not eligible for conscientious-objector status as he does not object to all wars, just the one the Bush administration is conducting... The Yellowstainers win another award for their lousy cowardice and lack of ethics. They think this officer--Ehren Watada--who REFUSES to ship overseas to fight in Iraq is a hero, and they title their post 'The Courage of Lieutenant Watada'.
One day after the anniversary of D-Day, which few of them bothered to acknowledge, they laud this man for turning tail and running away from his duty. I hope he runs right into a jail cell and dishonorable discharge!

I'll tell you who this traitor piece of sh!t is. I just saw his treason on TV. He's of Jap decent and I'll bet the taxpayers footed the bill for his degree too! After he's court-marshalled he should be forced to pay the taxpayer back the tens of thousands it cost for his training and education!
Or better yet let's have a firing squad! I'm frikkin pissed!

he joined for the college money and discount tickets to disneyland...loser
The military does not take kindly to officers who deliberately disobey orders. This Lt. Fuzz may escape prison but he's certain to get a Bad Conduct/Dishonorable Discharge and the enduring contempt of those who proudly and bravely served.
An aside: he went into officer's training AFTER the invasion of Iraq and knew he might be assigned to Iraq. It costs a lot of taxpayer $$$ to train a new officer and this clown just took all of us, and the military, for a ride.
I personally hope he gets at least a few months at hard labor.
I know. I'm ashamed he came from right here in Washington!
HE JOINED AFTER! Anyone ever heard of Private Slovak?
I know--what'd he think he was joining up with, a barbershop quartet?
