One is a fraternity any dullard can lie his way into – evidence Kennedy, Durbin, Reid, and soon to be gone Lincoln Chaffee. The fraternity that rests within Arlington National Cemetery is open only to those of character. It is open to those who loved country more than self, and died proving it.

I live close to Arlington Cemetery. When I look at Arlington--in person (which happens several times a year) or via a photo--those rows of markers always bring up goosebumps. I say to myself, "These soldiers put their lives on hold for me. Some of them died for me. Why? So that I can enjoy the many blessings of a free nation."
This Thanksgiving, as you sit down to enjoy a bountiful meal, say a prayer for our soldiers--past and present. And remember that those serving in Iraq aren't able to do what you are doing on this holiday. They are making the sacrifice for YOU!
