Got Logan Act?

Talks With Syria? Where's the Outrage?

I suppose certain puffed-up congressmen are feeling their oats since the election, but that's no excuse for their unauthorized trips overseas to meet with leaders of foreign nations.
This destructive practice must be stopped.

Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson traveled to Syria and met with its president, Bashar Assad, without the authority and contrary to the wishes of the Bush administration, including the State Department.

I have the dubious honor to claim Nelson as one of my senators, he's gotten cockier and less conservative since he was first elected. And no, I refuse to vote for him!
He's a politician, and has no other "vocation", he likes telling others how to live!

Um.... Can we say TREASON?!?

Of course, the dhimmocratic apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Bloated old Teddy Kennedy did in with the Ruskies during the Reagan administration.

That's right, Brooke, good call. Yeah, Splash wanted to undermine Reagan's presidency, so he went to the Russians and tried to set it up. What a pig.
