HE was already here, and HE is coming back to rule from Jerusalem.
Of course HE will also punish wrongdoing harshly, the FIRST time...
Do you REALLY want Jesus to return?

What abject dementia! I think I'll print this list out in a while and take it apart point by point like I used to do with Molly Ivins' idiotic articles. Sounds like fun. Are we allowed to pick on mental cripples?

Z's reply:
1. I am looking for someone who can and will stay in Iraq and finish it, like we promised.
2. I am looking for someone who can and will finally understand that shutting another side up is unAmerican and someone who's smart enough to realize the Fairness Doctrine will have to apply to both sides, thereby ruling it out forever if the Dems finally understand they might lose CNN, NPR, the NYSlimes and Bill Moyers. That's what 'fairness' means
3. I am looking for someone who can and will win the election.
4. I am looking for someone who can and will hold Bush responsible for having had the guts to fight terror as it should have been done 10 years ago, thereby, maybe, having saved us from 9/11 altogether.
5. I am looking for someone who can and will restore honesty, integrity, and transparency in the voting process and understands that Dems saying Reps tampered with votes doesn't make most American turn from the facts that it was the Dems doing most of the tampering.
6. I am looking for someone who can and will understand that because the justices don't agree with YOU doesn't mean they're against the Constitution.
7. I am looking for someone who can and will make universal healthcare an American institution which has, again, been shot down in favor of cutting costs and the setting up of medical co-ops which would work better and not make American just another socialist country.
8. I am looking for someone who will be a true uniter unless he strongly disagrees with one side, at which time he'll just stand for what he believes in and show us why.
9. I am looking for someone who can and will restore our country's image to the world in the wake of CLinton and Carter and other celebs slamming America while talking in Europe.
10. I am looking for someone who has foreign policy experience.
11. I am looking for someone who is anti-war, because you have to be a total moron to be totally anti-war for any reason and we sure don't want to elect that freak.
12. I am looking for someone who has a humble background or a wealthy upbringing because I just want the best person, not someone who was poor. We don't need an affirmative action president.
13. I am looking for someone who can and will restore the U.S. Constitution to where it really does protect the rights of an unborn child and not just some liberal woman who feels the 'right to her body' is more important.
14. I am looking for someone with bipartisan appeal.
15. I am looking for someone with diplomatic experience and who understands loving the UN over America doesn't necessarily deem someone 'diplomatic'.
16. I am looking for someone who is a true progressive, liberal Democrat, so I can make sure not to vote for him. I thought we wanted bipartisanship just a few numbers back? What happened?
17. I am looking for someone who believes that everyone had a right to a college education and the right to pay for it.
18. I am looking for someone who will honor our veterans, if possible, more than Bush has, which is plenty admirable.
19. I am looking for someone who will not discriminate.
20. I am looking for someone who can and will make the minimum wage a true living wage, thereby elevating hamburger flippers to $20k a year, closing millions of businesses across this country. I'd want to make sure I didn't vote for HIM, either.
THanks for your indulgence. This was a blast to counter!!

How wonderful, ZinLA--and what good counters you had! Clever girl!
I'm looking for the Alka-Seltzer, these people make me sick. BTW, great post Madame ZinLA, tres bien! J'Mac.
Thanks, D...merci, J'Mac...I absolutely had a blast doing that.
And thanks, MOrgan...can't wait to see yours! (SO to speak!!......ifyouknowwhatimeanandi thinkyoudo!?) hA!!!
You guys are gettin' outta hand!
I guesss someof these are just toooo horrible to think about, eh?
18. I am looking for someone who will honor our veterans.
Especially that one because it would be such a radical change from the current administration.
les, what planet are you on? You think sending soldiers to war isn't honoring them, right? And, you can't really believe the veteran's affairs situation is all this administration's problem; any hint as to how much Clinton cut from veterans? amazing.
ducky...why bother. Thanks for showing us, yet again, something one NEVER sees on conservative sites like this...an ugliness that has to be eating you up inside and not bugging us too terribly much, as a matter of fact.
thanks.

Z.
Wait...my brain hurts from what you just said.
First, a minor point in comparison to what you just said, I was talking about veterans...but that pales in comparison to what you just said.
You said:
"You think sending soldiers to war isn't honoring them, right?"
Right, that is not honoring them, that is asking them to do their duty. Do YOU really believe that? There are about 28,000 wounded vets that could use some more VA money and a bit less of your kind of 'honor'.
I guess sending firemen into infernos is honoring them also?
les, you can't be serious. I was writing that in response to the fact that most leftists would say it's a dishonor to send a soldier to war. It's what soldiers DO, les, it's not dishonoring them! This is maybe the first time I"ve not only disagreed with you but actually thought you sound like YOU aren't even listening to yourself.
The left would have us all believing to send a soldier to war is wrong. It is not. It is their job. My comment was that it's NOT a 'dishonor' to send them to war, that's all..it's their JOB.
The fact that injured aren't getting all they can get is a product of Clinton's shrinking our military budget and closing so many base hospitals, etc...it's also a function of a lie. There are practically as many soldiers saying they got everything they needed than there are who CNN finds slamming the VA.
THis isn't Bush's problem..no president is micromanaging everything...and I don't see congress stepping up to the bat to better help our vets, either.
And yes...sending firemen into an inferno is as much honoring them as sending soldiers to war. Maybe "honor" isn't the word, but I was obviously playing off the original idiot DU phrases, if you read both carefully....and yes, firemen I know DO feel their work is QUITE honorable.

Hey Ducky, go screw yourself up the nose with rifle-cleaning equipment ok? I'd love getting my hands around your neck and squeezing that turd you call a brain. How about it? J'Mac
NOTICE: As it is always DUCK HUNTING SEASON here, Le Quack has been removed! LOL!
Less - Hey nitwit, how do you figure the President doesn't honor the troops????????? (And don't give me that crap about him not going to all their funerals; he can't single out someone at the expense of all others, nor intrude on a family just to make points with you dimwits...)
bobcat, there are people who think not showing coffins is Bush's decision. I understand it was decided way before this war...but that's no problem; just blame Bush.
Bobcat,
no, I dont expect him to show up at funerals, but i do expect him to INCREASE funding for the VA and benefits. Not DECREASE them. Remember Bobcat, dreaming things up doesnt make them true. If you think that this President does more than pay lipservice you are seriously out of touch. Check the facts and cutting VA does not go back to cutting bases.
When will you let Bush be accoutable for his actions? Never?
