MUST READ: Compean/Ramos Judiciary Hearing
The Senate Committee on the Judiciary HearingThe Senate Committee on the Judiciary will be holding a hearing to examine the prosecution of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean on Tuesday, July 17, beginning at 10 a.m. The hearing will be held in Room 226 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building, and is open to the public. Coverage of the hearing will be broadcast on C-SPAN.
Contact the Senators on the Judiciary Committee, urging them to take a strong interest and to fully participate and question Johnny Sutton on this case. Here are the Senators and their numbers:

Thank you SO much DONAL!!! I'm NOT AT ALL HAPPY with the President on this issue. Sutton is his guy and they are one and the same on this prosecution and it REALLY burns my ass something fierce!
Once again I will sign the petition and call other people's Senators for help since mine are as useless as t-ts on a boar where immigration is concerned. This is a GRAVE injustice and must be remedied. Thanks for bringing it up again.

It amazes me that congressmen and senators do not understand the severity of this issue and do not make it number one on their agenda!
The future of this country depends on a good , solid fence and good , strong police on the border with Mexico.
And good strong policemen out of jail and on patrol!

Our border guards are practically helping them over the border and giving them safe passage - when are we gonna allow them to do their jobs?
I'm sticking my neck out here and telling you I've read both sides of this issue extensively and it's not as cut and dried as we might like to think it is. OUCH, I can feel the stabs already, but...
Here's my feeling: MOSTLY I'm on the side of these two poor agents, and I would NEVER believe the side of a freakin' drug dealer illegal jackass...........but, if the guys are even partly wrong in how they handled the situation:..you ready?

The message these convictions and prison sentences sent to illegals STANK...as badly as the message our leaving Iraq soon will send (and I am sure we will, sadly);
It says: "AMERICA IS YOURS TO SCREW AROUND WITH, WE AREN'T REALLY THAT CONCERNED BECAUSE WE CAN GET THROUGH ANYTHING!, SO, YOU GO AHEAD, WE'RE STRONG, WE'LL LET YOU PLAY AROUND WITH US, WE'LL CONVICT THE PEOPLE WHO ARE TAKING CARE OF US, WE'LL HUMILIATE THE SOLDIERS FIGHTING FOR US AND TELL THE WORLD WE'RE LOSING EVEN THOUGH OUR KIDS ARE SO SURE WE COULD WIN THEY'RE REUPPING BY THE HUNDREDS EVERY SINGLE DARNED MONTH...HOW CAN WE FAIL? AFTER ALL, WE'RE AMERICA AND WE HAVE THIS GREAT AMERICA-LOVING STRONG PATRIOTIC POPULACE!! WE ALWAYS WIN!!! HOORAH!!"

They need to be RELEASED and our treasonous media needs to keep their yaps SHUT on the matter, not broadcast all over the world the "disgrace" of Bush's letting these guys out (the word Reid used when Bush commuted Libby's sentence..)
sorry for the rant, but if these guys shot the drug dealer in cold blood, I'd be on the side of the agents. if ONLY for the message this sent our enemies.
