Edwards Statement On Karl Rove Announcement
John Edwards today released the following statement in reaction to President Bush’s announcement that his senior advisor, Karl Rove, will resign at the end of the month:
"Goodbye, good riddance."
Of course Karl Rove hasn't even packed his desk yet, but Obama/Edwards have unleashed the nasty goodbye. I always knew the Demisquats were classless, butI never realized they'd abandoned all good manners until this year. I shouldn't be surprised.

On behalf of all Americans, I apologize to you for the unfair treatment you've received, the disrespectful manner in which you've been addressed on countless occasions and the baseless accusations and charges for which you were forced to defend yourself. America is a better nation for having been blessed with your presence in our White House for the last 6 and a half years. From the bottom of my heart, Mr. Rove, thank you for a job well done.

I hate to easily brush aside Osama's idiotic comments where Rove is concerned, but I truly think he's an overexposed rookie.
My own thoughts on Rove are a bit more complex. I reelly like the guy because the LEFT HATES HIM MORE THAN THEY LOVE LIFE! Their nuttiness is well explained by Mr. Lewis in the other article. The left is reliably WRONG so Karl must be a good guy!
Honestly I think the Prez will miss him because he's a true friend. I can't help but wonder how many of the truly BONEHEADED decisions of the President were straight from Karl Rove's influence. Ann Coulter seems to think that the Harriet Miers fiasco was ALL his doing and I can't help but wonder about the border issue. Having said that, I know Karl is a great campaigner and will probably help the Republican nominee.

Too bad that he already got Bush elected--they can't stop what's already happened,. Rove will still be an influence in the GOP party--and the Lefties will still continue to wet the bed!
