The Democrat Party War Plans...
FROM DU: WAR--Democrat Underground Style:
While replying in another thread about safety regulations, I got to thinking about how the Neocons took over and how we are finding it so difficult to take it back.
The Neocons laid their foundations slowly and carefully one seat/department at a time... And now we are in the unenviable position of attempting to make everything right. And I'm beginning to think that the way we are going about it is very wrong. O.K. we think we have identified all the major perfidities and the players involves. And it pretty much matches our expectations and predictions of 3, 4, 5 and even six years ago. Yes they are nearly all corrupt. Yes there is bad shit going down right across the board. O.K. Points acknowledged. Now what?
We need to take a page or two from the Republican play book. Pick a target. Any target. The lower hanging the fruit the better. Find the corruption and expose it. Exhume the bodies. Take names, but settle for a handful of lieutenants and patsies. One dirty secretary and department at a time.
The public is lazy and ignorant (sometimes willfully so) but it is not completely stupid, and one thing that it really excels at is picking a winer (and of course a loser).
Just as the Neocons had their Pearl Harbour in 9/11 we can create our own moment of "public hysteria" by simply methodically piling one brick on top of another. Eventually even the willfully blind will start tripping over it as they go about their daily business. And hell we already have the beginnings of that awareness happening, let's get some actual victories under our belts to keep the momentum happening.
O.K. when we concentrate our attack they will probably consolidate their defense. Good! A long term goal it to catch the rats, but for now it's good enough that they simply sign the register for us. Their turn will come. For now switch targets and leave just enough investigation happening to keep them engaged. Their game for so long was to make ground wherever the opportunity presented itself, and hold it whilst making gains elsewhere. Now it should be ours.
It's OUR turn now to have THEM running around like headless chooks, looking ineffectual, ridiculous and above all guilty.
And we have two advantages they didn't: Virtually every target is ripe for the picking; and We can operate right out in the open whereas they had to remain at least somewhat under the radar.
But for now at least we have to concentrate on not being too greedy. We spread ourselves too thin trying to cover everything. And we open ourselves up to charges of going on "fishing expeditions".
Finally when choosing a target, there should be at least one very clear and advantageous benefit to the general public that can be trotted out come polling time. (TheMadMonk)

Of course, when I started reading this post somewhere in the middle, I thought it had to do with the war in Iraq, or in the middle east somewhere... Wrong. For all the Leftists who haven't got a clue--nor three lines to write--about what they want to do in Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan etc., they carefully lay out their war plans--against us.
I truly think we've been mistaken in thinking that the Democrats don't want to go to war/are not at war; we've simply mis-identified the enemy. The Dems can't fight the war in Iraq. They can't go look for bin Laden. No, their 'troops' are already engaged with the only enemy they see--US, we Republicans, we conservatives, we rightwingers.
This poster has gone farther, and taken much more time, to outline his plans for how to do us in than I've seen ANY Democrat do, or take, in fighting the War On Terror. Civil war in Iraq? We've got a civil war right here. We're much more of an enemy to the Left than the men with the bombs, and plans for jihad, will ever be.
Remember this in the next presidential election. Do you really want to elect someone who declares him or herself to be the enemy of fully half of America?

Whoever wrote this is a tea-swilling Brit socialist because Americans don't spell ''harbor'' with a ''u'', so I don't know where this person gets this ''we'' stuff. J'Mac.
He also blew 'perfidies' and 'winner'--and the guy below him can't spell 'eradicate' either...
I burst out laughing halfway through it....as IF the Republicans control the schools, the media, the films, the constant drumbeat of hate in this country? We are in charge? WHAT?
What world do these jerks live in?
Hey folks, go out and see the Persid metor shower tonight, anytime after midnight. J"Mac.
Wow, is this guy from DU running for President? Cool....
Oh, he's just some wanker living in his parent's basement. So he isn't speaking for our party's nominee?
Les, DU boasts having 106,896 registered members, so a lot more read this nonsense than commented.
I, too, have many more readers than commenters...
This guy's point of view isn't being disagreed with--and he certainly isn't getting thrown off the board at DU--so, yes, that means they agree with him. They approve. His opinion IS theirs, or he'd be gone.
You don't know if the guy who wrote it is running for prez--or anything else, BTW, so don't assume.
Yes, this is ONE post--but I've told you before that I only post those that are representative, those with thoughts I see echoed over and over. I sure don't pick the one crazy idea that shows up and then post it (what would be the point?)
I post junk from DU to let people know the prevailing Leftist/Democratic lunacy. I would be defeating that objective by pointing out that 'one-in-a-million' post you constantly refer to.
Quit ignoring that logic that time and space doesn't permit me to post every single post that agrees with him. Rather you should post a couple dissenting opinions from DU that YOU find. Find anybody to disagree with this post????
Donal, he is using a metaphor...
Do you think this powerless kid is any worse than Karl Rove?
One thing I love about your posters, everyone is looking for a conspiracy. Oh, by the way, did you see that yet ANOTHER right wing columnist is calling for another 9/11 to 'unite' America?
We're not comparing him with Karl Rove--and as for the columnist saying we need another 9/11--we don't agree with him. He's making an irresponsible point. I understand what he's saying--(and I could list tons of systems theory that would delineate it) but he saying it badly, and with a skewed parallel.
