All Thanksgiving Means To the Left:

Teaching Thanksgiving From A "Different" Perspective

Teacher Bill Morgan walks into his third-grade class wearing a black Pilgrim hat made of construction paper and begins snatching up pencils, backpacks and glue sticks from his pupils. He tells them the items now belong to him because he "discovered" them.

What most teachers also "fail" to teach, is that the Pilgrims landed in an area that had been inhabited by a tribe that terrified the tribes around them so much, that when a disease carried them off, the other tribes refused to occupy the area! The Pilgrims went into a basically empty area! Squanto knew this, because he had been a member of that feared tribe! But he became a Christian in England, was educated and not only did he teach the Pilgrims how to live and adapt, he also made the language a written one and translated the Bible into the native tongue of the area!
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving!
Hope Paul enjoyed the "dream" card!

Yes, thanks for the history lesson. I doubt most of these Lefties have studied history very thoroughly; it always has to be 'our' fault!

One of the many things I find disturbing about this ''the Indians taught the Pilgrims'' stuff is the absurity that for some 1,600 years prior to coming to The New World, white Europeans were portrayed as never having planted a crop of any kind, never raised a single cow, sheep, goat or horse, never made iron and steel impliments and short knew nothing other than how to create a vessel that could circum-navigate the globe. And by the way Happy Thanksgiving one and all. I'm thankful for my health,my wife,America and all of you wonderful people I've come to know and love.Johnnymac.

Hey, JohnnyMac! All Squanto did was show the Pilgrims what was edible, what could be caught and eaten, what berries and other plants were food, or dye, or could be used for planting! He had lived in England, so he knew what the English were capable of, but food, medicinals and animals were different. That's what he taught!
Just adapting to changed conditions and resources.

It's about this time the parents and superintendent of schools show up and remove the job that belongs to them and not to some idiot leftist posing as a teacher.

After all, a teacher of his progressive depth should suffer for his art.

Is there any better example that our education system is dragging bottom?

I agree with prairieson...how long are we going to do nothing about people who are ruining our country through our children? This is as bad as 'palestinians' indoctrinating their young to hate Jews.........both will end in disaster.

On a happier note, there are really no words good enough to thank you all for the kind of support you give to me, practically a lone Conservative in LA!..... you are all precious and I wish you nothing but the very best for this Thanksgiving and for the coming years....should God grant us many more years.

His blessings to you all...always. z
